Future (Lover)

Just to prepare you guys cos I spied another OG's blog... Haha... The modules that you guys will be taking next semester, provided there's no change in the system that we've gone through last year, are as follows:

COM 201 - Foundations of Comm Stud
COM 203 - Media Professions & Pract

COM 204 - Basic Media Writing
OR
COM 205 - Speech and Argumentation

COM 201 & 203 have no tutorials, only mass lectures.

If you take 204 this sem, you will be allocated 205 next semester. And vice versa. However I've heard of some smartypants who did both during the first semester. The faster you clear your core, the faster you can take on other stuff. Also, note that there are tutorial sessions for these modules and they will be allocated to you. However you can swop it with your friends OR write to the tutor if another module you wish to take clashes with your tutorial. No guarantees though!

Don't be sad about the 830 days. Us Yr 2s will be having 830 lessons on Wed and Fri. :(

PLUS: Usually people will take 6 modules for the semester which means if you guys follow the norm, you'll be taking 3 electives. CDP101 (Intro to Per and Theatre Skills) happens Wednesdays, 1230 - 1530.
