Hall Camp

Frankly I can say it's pretty much your choice. For the girls though, it's your chance of looking at more fresh meat, not that CS guys aren't good enough, but if you want variety - Hall Camp.

And yes, I don't gain anything from asking you to go for your respective hall camps. But I would urge you to go because I think being hall allows you to try lots of fun stuff and that only works when you actually know people in hall. If you aren't the kind to socialise with your neighbours or go down for functions and make yourself known, Hall Camp is the easiest way to make friends - people who will accompany you for dinner, late night suppers, silly games, movies in your room, alcohol parties and late night heart to heart.

Sometimes it's about striking a balance though. People who are usually happening in hall aren't happening in school, vice versa. It's possible for you to balance both as well. In all honesty you don't have to take up that much time studying, but that doesn't mean you don't have to study hard. Maybe just put aside a couple of hours each day and the rest can be spent partying. Oops.

I don't want you guys to learn the wrong things!

Anyway, take it with a pinch of salt, but I'm happy to be taking away from my uni life, a degree, as well as experience in cheerleading, water polo, organising events, doing photography, publicity and a gazillion other things. So...

Ooh and that question. Maybe it's a different kind of experience but I thought stint as GL with SCI was more fun than a freshie in Hall camp.

Just my two cents.

;)
